Robin McCloskey is a San Francisco Bay Area printmaker, mixed media painter, digital artist and teacher. Her work explores the manipulated landscape. The redwood forest, Baylands and “Circus Trees” at Gilroy Gardens have figured prominently in this work. She layers personal photos, patterns or found imagery to explore the relationship of location, memory and the passage of time.
Robin has taught in numerous art departments including San Francisco State University, Cabrillo College, and the Academy of Art University. She currently teaches Printmaking and Graphic Design at Dominican University.
